Ham Panini
GRILL IT UP! Lazy Sunday afternoon lunch...
Per Sandwich, You Will Need:
* 2 slices of sourdough bread, generous on thickness ;-)
* 2 tbsp reduced calorie mayo
* 3 slices of roma tomato
* 1 slice of sweet yellow onion
* 2 slices of green pepper (optional)
* 4-5 slices deli-style (thin sliced) black forrest ham (available at local deli counter)
* 1 slice of American cheese
Make It!
Spread reduced calorie Mayo over each slice of sourdough bread. Layer one slice with
black forrest ham, roma tomato slices and sweet yellow onion. Place American cheese
on other slice; place one on top of the other to close sandwich.
Be sure to spray cooking surface with cooking spray.Best if cooked on a griddle, skillet
or between a waffle iron on medium heat (around 325 degrees). Cook until golden brown:
DON'T OVERCOOK! Serve with favorite salad or soup!
